Vaccination against BTV8 not compulsory, started only in May and in the infected area.
Vaccination against BTV1 compulsory (cattle/sheep) but only in the South western.
Vaccinations were performed by the veterinarians
2009:
Compulsory vaccination against BTV 1 and BTV 8 - concurrent vaccination (same day, two sites)
Campaign: from December to end of April ( or June depending on area).
